BRICKHOUSE Information

BRICKHOUSE is a short-living gallery in Little Russell Street, Bloomsbury.

Exhibiting artists must work within set parameters, these parameters are constant. Besides working with and exhibiting in the same space they also have the same amount of time to install in and show. Each show is contained within a single week, each week’s structure is as follows:

Day 1 (Sunday) – Artist change over / Installation begins and can continue until the end of Day 5

Day 2 Installation

Day 3 Installation

Day 4 Installation

Day 5 (Thursday) – Installation ends / Show opens for private view at 6

Day 6 (Friday) – Show is open to the public by appointment from 11 until 6

Day 7 (Saturday) – Show is open to the public by appointment from 11 until 6

Day 8 (Sunday) – Artists change over / new artist begins installation

Week 5 – 20th Dec – Gallery closed (christmas)

Week 6 – 27th Dec – Gallery closed (new years)

Week 7 – installation starting on Sun 3rd Jan – Edwin Burdis

Week 8  – installation starting on Sun 10th Jan – Jack Day

Week 9 – installation starting on Sun 17th Jan – Liam Fogarty

Week 10 – installation starting on Sun 24th Jan – Ben Absolom & Sam Bardsley

Week 11 – 31st Jan – Thomas Hoagy Dunnell & Aimee Selby

Week 12 – installation starting on Sun 7th Feb – Mike Levitt

Week 13 – installation starting on Sun 14th Feb – Oliver Hemsley

Week 14 – 21st Feb – Thomas Bush, Hampus Larsson & Tobias Centerwell
